A free five-night archaeology seminar

September 9–13 at 6:30 PM

You've Read the Bible Stories. Can Anyone Prove Them?

You've heard about Egypt and the plagues, Babylon and the king who lost his mind, Jericho and its walls that tumbled down, and Rome with a governor named Pontius Pilate.

Is any of this actually history or is it just a beautiful story we keep telling?

For the last 150 years, archaeologists have been pulling that answer out of the ground.

See the Evidence of the Bible for Yourself

From September 9-13 in Chattanooga, TN, two scholars, Michael G. Hasel, Ph.D. & Ron E. M. Clouzet, D.Min., will walk you through the greatest archaeological discoveries ever made with photographs from the sites themselves.

Stone, clay, and ink has survived three thousand years, and you get a front row seat to it all!

You'll see the tomb of Tutankhamun, the Rosetta Stone, the first mention of Israel ever found outside the Bible carved into black granite by an Egyptian pharaoh, the Dead Sea Scrolls, and the stone that bears Pontius Pilate's name.

And you'll be shown exactly what each one does (and doesn't) prove.

This Series was Made for You If…

  • You believe the Bible, but you've never seen the evidence behind it.

  • You've been asked a hard question about Scripture and didn't know how to answer.

  • You love history and archaeology and want to know how it lines up with the biblical record.

  • You've wondered whether faith and historical evidence can sit in the same room.

  • You've always wanted to see these places but haven't been able to travel to them.

This is your invitation to see and hear it all!

COMMON QUESTIONS

Is it really free?

Yes, this is a free lecture series we’re presenting as a gift to the community. There's a resource table in the back if you'd like to purchase books, but nothing is required and nothing is sold from the stage.

Do I have to come all five nights?

We'd love you to. Each night covers a different civilization, and the series builds toward the last night, so attending each night helps the whole picture come together.

Do I need to know anything about the Bible or archaeology?

These presentations are built for people encountering this material for the first time. Come ready to learn and enjoy!

Can I bring my kids?

Yes, children are welcome to sit with you. The photographs and stories of tombs and treasure tend to hold their attention better than you'd expect.

What should I wear?

Whatever you're comfortable in. You'll see jeans and t-shirts alongside slacks, button-downs, and dresses.
